Osteroid Osteoma-Report of an Unusual Case

Abstract

|
|
One case of osteoid osteoma arising from distal end of the radius is presented. Before the surgery the clinical manifestation and roentgenogram showed similar to a chronic inflammation of the radius, interosseous membrane and radial side of the ulna. It was finally, however, diagnosed as an osteoid osteoma by bacteriological and histopathological Study after the surgery. Above fact may be suggestive of histopathogenesis of the osteoid osteoma as an inflammatory origin.
